User-agent parser

Local rule set

Decode common browser, engine, platform, device, client, and automation tokens without sending the submitted string to another provider.

Parsing is deterministic and local to IP Yellow. Input is limited to 2,048 characters, not cached or logged by the parser, and makes no network request.

Claims, not verified identity

A user-agent string is untrusted text chosen by the client. Browsers reduce or freeze parts of it, compatibility tokens intentionally mention unrelated products, automation can copy a normal browser string, and privacy tools can rewrite it. “Unlikely” means no obvious automation marker was found; it never proves a human is present.

The parser uses ordered, checked-in rules rather than an external fingerprinting service. It does not combine the string with IP data, JavaScript capabilities, client hints entered elsewhere, or behavioral signals. Unknown and possible states are intentional when the tokens do not support a stronger conclusion.
