How to verify manually

  1. Open your router's Internet, WAN, or connection-status page.
  2. Find its Internet IPv4 address. Do not use the LAN gateway address.
  3. A value inside 100.64.0.0/10 is direct CGNAT evidence. An RFC 1918 address shows upstream NAT but may be a second router.
  4. If you need inbound connections, ask your ISP whether it uses CGNAT and whether a public IPv4 or native IPv6 service is available.
